If you’re a statement necklace whore like myself, a run-of-the-mill jewelry box serves you as well as a pair of sky high stilettos between shows at NYFW – a straight up disservice. Having just moved to a new (smaller) apartment in Old Town Alexandria (just south of Washington DC, dur) let’s just say I’ve had to come up with some serious space saving tactics. These necklace hanger/organizers are a totes adorable way to add some dimension to your walk in closet, bedroom, or dressing room (as I so candidly nicknamed my office space).
Here’s the kicker – I made them in less than 10 minutes for less than 10 dollars (TOTAL, betch). Joann Fabric has cork boards for 50% off right now & thumb tacks you can basically find anywhere (including the dollar store!). Use a ruler to make the line of tacks straight and evenly spaced! I plan on giving them a little spray paint action in a bright color soon, but here you have the sluggish girl’s version.

Hi, I love in your first pic your khaki twisted cord with bid necklace. I really love it!!!! Where did you buy??? What’s the brand???
It’s from H&M ! From 2010!
I also have a home office that moonlights as my dressing room. I’m totally going to hang this up. Practical and fancy decor for only $10 is AMAZING.
Thanks Diana for reading!! Xoxo
Um, genius.
